Yesterday we had a graduation party at the ENZA centre for 10 fantastic students, who have now completed a Life Skills and Basic Computer program. One student Gladys Maseng who completed the course with distinction made a speech.

Today Enza was honoured to have a surprise visit by Ms. Phumzile Mhlambo-Ngcuka, the former Deputy President of SAfrica. She undertook a brief tour of the centre, followed by a brief presentation on the origins and activities of Enza by Ruth Gylfadottir.

This week the Enza Skills and Learning Centre opened its doors with the commencement of Adult Basic Education Training (ABET) literacy and numeracy classes. In addition, young school girls in the community come to the centre in the afternoons to do their homework under the supervision of an experienced teacher. Computer Classes, needlework classes and handcraft groups will commence in the next few weeks.
